Although the Valderrama is a private members’ club, visitors can still gain access to the golf course between 12-2 pm on weekdays and 12-1 pm during the weekend. It is definitely one of the more costly golf courses in Costa del Sol, with green fees for 18 holes ranging from 320/350 Euros per person. However, it is well worth the money with its excellent holes, brilliant greens and great service by well-trained staff and is a must for all golf enthusiasts.

Valderrama

Another golf treasure that Sotogrande has to offer is the Real Sotogrande Golf Club, which is also a masterpiece of Robert Trent Jones. The course is fascinating for players of any level, and beautifully integrates with natural surroundings. It is a member’s private club; however visitors can reserve tee-off times during allotted hours on normal working days. Green fees are 180/200 Euros per person.

Those looking for a golf break in Costa del Sol also have to check out La Reserva Golf Club, which features an expansive 18-hole course covering 72 hectares, designed by Cabell Robinson. Suitable for all levels of play, La Reserva has ample greens and generous fairways. Visitors are allowed between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm, and normal rates are 155/180 Euros per person.
